System requirements

PC

- OS Windows XP, Vista, 7 or Linux (x86, x64).
- For Windows users neccecary drivers for a mobile device must be present.
- Java Runtime Environment must be pre-installed. Click here to download it.

Android device

- Mobile processor 500 MHz, 256 mb RAM (Recommended: processor 1 GHz and 512 mb RAM)
- Android OS 1.5 or higher.
- The device must be rooted.
- 1.5 Gb of free space on an SD card is required.
- The device must support an ext2 file system.
- The device must allow to create loop devices.
- Busybox must be pre-installed.

How to install WishNu

Step 1: Mobile app

- Install WishNu from Android Market, or use the link or the QR code to install WishNu Starter.

Step 2: System image

- Download the Linux image according to the processor type of your mobile device (ARM, MIPS) of your computer.
- Copy the image file to SD card as "wishnu/system.img" file.
- Insert the card in your phone.
OR
- Download the Linux image directly into your Android device with the help of WishNu Starter: open the System Status menu option, click "Check" and then "Fix" to the right of the "System image" label.

Step 3: Desktop app

- Download the desktop application.
Windows 32-bit version.
Windows 64-bit version.
Linux 32-bit version.
Linux 64-bit version.

How to use WishNu:

1. Start the mobile app and press the "Start" button. Don't forget, the image must be present in your phone's SD card for everything to work.

2. Use the USB cable to connect the phone to your PC.

3. Run the desktop application. The name (serial number) of your phone should appear on the screen.

4. Double click the name.
